All orders are shipped via Royal Mail UK, unless agreed otherwise (or if deemed necessary by AHM).
DELIVERY FEES
All domestic UK orders are shipped free of charge via Royal Mail’s Tracked 24 Service.
All European orders are shipped for a nominal flat fee of £10 via Royal Mail’s Tracked International Service.
All other destinations (including North America and Oceania) are shipped for a nominal flat fee of £15 via Royal Mail’s Tracked International Service.
DELIVERY TIMES
Orders placed on our site are delivered within an estimated timeframe of 1 to 14 business days, depending on your location and stock availability. A number of our pieces are made to order – if your order contains such an item, will we contact you to confirm the details.
Alexandra Harper Millinery processes orders within one to two business days, and delivery occurs Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.
If you have a specific deadline or time requirement, please contact us and we will do our very best to meet your needs.
You will receive an email notification once your order has shipped, along with an expected delivery date. Royal Mail will confirm delivery details via SMS or email.
DUTIES AND CUSTOMS
Delivery charges do not include customs or duty charges that may be incurred for overseas shipments.
Alexandra Harper Millinery is not responsible for any customs or duty charges, additional costs or shipment delays that are a result of an international shipment.
Please note that our pieces may contain feathers or fibres that are not permitted in your country (especially Australia, New Zealand and USA). We will contact you before completing your order if there is a potential concern.
Alexandra Harper Millinery is not responsible for any pieces held under quarantine or any associated costs incurred.
RETURNS
RETURNS POLICY
At Alexandra Harper Millinery London, we understand it is important to see headwear and accessories ‘in real life’ and we absolutely want you to be happy with your purchase.
Because of this, we will accept returns and provide refunds in the following circumstances:
- the returned order is received by us within 14 days of your order’s arrival;
All returns must be postmarked within 14 days of the original delivery date. Any return postmarked up to a further 5 business days after this date will qualify for a store credit only. Any return after this timeframe will be treated as a final sale and will be returned to you.
- items are returned UNWORN, in PRISTINE CONDITION, with TAGS ATTACHED and in their original packaging;
- a nominal £5 returns delivery and processing charge will be deducted from the final refund amount.
Please note:
- for orders containing 3 items or more, only 2 of the items will qualify for a refund. The same will apply if you place multiple separate orders on the same day. We are a slow-fashion business and it is very important to us to reduce waste and over-supply. Our pieces are hand-made, often to order, and are available in small quantities. If you are unsure of the styling of any of our pieces, please contact us and we will happily offer you our styling advice before you proceed with a purchase;
- we are unable to refund a piece that is a bespoke order or has been customised;
- we do not offer exchanges, but invite you to place a new order once your return has processed;
- allow 5-7 business days for the refund to reach your original payment method (or to your AHM customer account in the event of store credit);
- we do not accept liability for shipping loss or damage of returned goods;
- we cannot refund international duties and taxes.
RETURNS PROCESS
1. Please email contact@alexandraharpermillinery.com and request a Returns Number (RN);
2. Complete the details on the Returns Form included with your order and include this form in the package;
3. Please carefully wrap the piece in its original packaging and seal adequately;
4. Place the enclosed Royal Mail Returns Label on the package and drop at your local Royal Mail office (please ensure you receive tracking confirmation);
5. Once the item is received and inspected at our studio, we will issue a refund;
6. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to reach your original payment method (or to your AHM customer account in the event of store credit).
