Silk Twill Scarf – Atelier by Cosmo

Designed in collaboration with celebrated artist Cosmo Danchin-Hamard, this silk scarf is the latest in our beloved scarf collection and was created to celebrate the opening of Alexandra Harper Millinery’s new Atelier and Workroom.

The jewel-box location, as located in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire is cutely rendered in the centre of the scarf and is flanked by #AHMillineryGirls in ever-so-iconic headpieces. Pulling together elements of the store (think hat boxes, champagne, flowers), the production of hats (threads, braids and sewing machines) and along with Alexandra’s beloved felines, this vibrant illustration perfectly sums up the AHM brand and it’s ethos: Be Your Most Expressive Self.

Based in Le Havre, France, Cosmo is an exceptional young artist with a background in fashion. Now devoting herself entirely to the art of illustration, Cosmo is a sought-after creative who has worked with such brands as Miu Miu, Pandora, Elle France, Carolina Herrera, Glenmorangie and the Opéra de Paris. Her graphic universe is strongly inspired by comics, in the which the use of the clean line is paramount. Cosmo places women (often inspired by Pre-Raphelite paintings) at the heart of her work – a delicate and sensual environment tinged with her signature offbeat and sarcastic tone.
